David Walliams lost his contract with publishing house.
Prolific writer for children and comedian David Walliams has parted ways with his UK book publisher, according to an announcement.
A representative for the company said: "Following a thorough review, and following the appointment of its recently appointed chief executive, HarperCollins UK has chosen to cease publishing future works by David Walliams."
It has been reported that the conclusion was taken subsequent to an review of allegations of questionable actions involving women.
The firm declined to specify the motivations for this action, adding: "It is not our policy to discuss private personnel issues."
An Illustrious Publishing History
Walliams stands as a most best-selling authors for kids, boasting over more than 60 million copies internationally in dozens of tongues.
His inaugural foray into kids' literature, *The Boy in the Dress*, was released through HarperCollins back in 2008.
Several of his books, including *Gangsta Granny* and *Billionaire Boy*, have also been adapted into TV movies.
His bibliography includes over four dozen titles combined, which features a holiday title named *Santa & Son*, which came out under HarperCollins in October.

His initial claim to fame came on the TV sketch series *Little Britain* and has also won National Television Awards for his role as a panelist on *Britain's Got Talent*.
He was awarded an OBE back in 2017 for his services to charity and the arts.
The publisher's decision comes after the selection of Kate Elton as HarperCollins UK's freshly installed boss in October.
